I started writing music to create a world with much more possibility and adventure than I felt the real world could offer me at the time. I picked up the guitar at fifteen when I was struggling with some big feelings around identity and loss in the family. Music wasn’t only an outlet or a distraction, it was a source of hope. And over the course of my life, and throughout all the turns its taken, music has remained a source of hope. My aim now is to make it a source of hope for others.
